About the EduFun bot
EduFun gathers information about museums, libraries, theatres and children's clubs from public registers and from institutions' own websites, so that parents can find them in one place.
Our automated requests identify themselves with this User-Agent:

What we always respect
- We read “robots.txt” before every domain and stop if it disallows the path. If we cannot read it, we fetch nothing.
- At most one request every two seconds per domain — or less often, if “Crawl-delay” asks for less often.
- We take only factual data: name, address, contact, opening hours, price, date, category, link. Never descriptions, editorial text or photographs.
- We take no personal names and no personal contact details — institutional contacts only.
- Every published listing shows where its data came from and when it was last verified.
- We send traffic to the institution's own site; we do not replace it.
How to opt out
Write to bot@edufun.ro from an institutional address and tell us which domain or which listing you want removed. We ask for no justification. We stop fetching from the next run — usually the same night — and remove the listing if that is what you want.
If something is wrong
A correction is faster than an exclusion: send us the right details to the same address and we will check them. Any field the institution confirms stays that way — no later import overwrites it.
Where the data comes from
Open public registers (data.gov.ro, ARACIP, the accredited museums list), OpenStreetMap under the ODbL, institutions' public calendars and their events pages. We do not take data from commercial aggregators, Google Maps or Facebook: their terms forbid it.
